With the arrival of the Hospites Nostri in 2103 AD, a system of Glyphs was created to mimic their written language. Using many types of ancient alphabets, the Draconics, Caderes, Helioses, and others made these symbols to help the aliens understand the importance of certain people, places, things, concepts, and events, many of which were foreign to them.
The Glyphs are simply words spelled out in a certain script, then stacked to create one symbol. The most important rule of Glyphening is that things, places, and concepts are enclosed in a circle. Normally, they are created with blocky, angular scripts, although there are a few exceptions to the rule. Family Glyphs or Creature Glyphs are NEVER in a circle, and usually created with curvy scripts.
